Personal data and purpose of collection

If you wish to receive Berdice content (e-newsletters), you must fill in a form on the Berdice website. By filling in this form and confirming it, you provide Berdice with the following contact details:

  • We need the contact details you provide when you fill in or submit the form to process your order and to communicate with you about specific newsletters or questions. If you do not provide us with the contact details provided, we will not process your order and you will not be able to use the newsletter you have requested.

    Berdice respects your privacy and is committed to collecting, storing and processing your personal data carefully and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. As there are certain links in the Berdice online information system to other, external websites that are not directly linked to Berdice, we do not assume any responsibility for the data protection of these websites.

    In order to prevent unauthorised access to or disclosure of the data we collect, to maintain the accuracy of personal data and to ensure its appropriate use, we use appropriate technical and organisational procedures to secure the data we collect. Berdice cannot exclude the possibility of misuse of data, as the Internet is an unpredictable medium, despite security measures and secure communication protocols.

    We process the personal data you provide to us when you subscribe to our newsletter with your explicit and unambiguous consent based on Article 6 (1) (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In order to improve the quality of our products and services and for statistical purposes, we also process data about the impressions of the messages received and the clicks on the links in the messages in connection with the e-mails we send you.

    You give your consent to the processing of your personal data by clicking on "submit"/"login"/"register" on the online order form on the Berdice website. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking in the footer of any communication you receive from Berdice or by sending an e-mail to: info@berdice.com. If you withdraw your consent, we will no longer use your personal data to inform you about Berdice content (newsletter). Any withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data at the time before the withdrawal was made.

    Retention period of personal data

    Berdice keeps your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of sending you the content (newsletters) to which you have subscribed. In the event that you no longer wish to receive content from Berdice and unsubscribe from it, or in the event that you withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data for this purpose, we will block your data in the Berdice system and will no longer use your data for this purpose.

    The retention period for personal data may vary depending on the applicable sectoral legislation (e.g. tax legislation, accounting legislation). In the event that the applicable sectoral legislation provides for mandatory retention periods for personal data, Berdice will delete the personal data after the expiration of the mandatory period prescribed by law.
